Terms of Service

The short version: you must be 13 or older, you own what you write, credits are used up when the AI does work for you, and you can cancel any time.

1. Who we are

LyricDraft (lyricdraft.net) is run by LMJ Media ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected]. By creating an account or using LyricDraft, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use LyricDraft

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must make any purchase for you.

3. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • The free credits are for one account per person. Creating extra accounts to get more free credits is not allowed, and we may merge or close accounts that do.

4. Credits and plans

  • AI actions such as generating a song or editing lyrics use credits. Writing or editing by hand is free.
  • New accounts get 18 free credits, once.
  • Paid plans (Songwriter, $5 / month; Songwriter Pro, $9 / month) add credits every month. Monthly credits do not roll over to the next month.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money.
  • If an AI action fails, the credits it used are returned to your balance automatically.
  • Current prices and credit costs are shown on our pricing section. If we change the price of your subscription, we will tell you before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

5. Payments, cancelling, and refunds

Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record. It processes your payment details and handles tax; we never see your card number. Its own terms, shown at checkout, also apply to your purchase.

You can cancel at any time. You keep your plan and credits until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not normally refund part-used months. If something has gone wrong, email us and we will look at it fairly. None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.

6. Your lyrics and who owns them

  • You own what you put into LyricDraft: your ideas, notes, and anything you write yourself.
  • We do not claim ownership of the lyrics, titles, or style prompts LyricDraft generates for you. As far as we are able, we give any rights we have in them to you.
  • You give us permission to store and process your content only so that we can run LyricDraft for you, for example to save your songs and send your requests to the AI. We do not use your songs to train AI models.
  • AI-generated text may resemble existing work, and in some countries it may not be protected by copyright. Check lyrics before you release or sell them.

7. What you must not do

  • Use LyricDraft for anything illegal, or to create content that sexualises children.
  • Paste in or reproduce other people's copyrighted lyrics without permission.
  • Create content meant to harass, threaten, or promote hatred against real people or groups.
  • Get around the credit system, overload the service, or access it through automated scripts or other people's accounts.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.

8. AI-generated content

Lyrics are written by AI models and can be wrong, unexpected, or not what you asked for. Review everything before you use it; you are responsible for what you publish. LyricDraft is not affiliated with Suno, Udio, or any other music service, and their terms apply when you use them.

9. Our responsibility to you

We work to keep LyricDraft running and your songs safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or error-free, so keep your own copies of lyrics that matter to you. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. This permanently removes your songs and credits. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first; or email [email protected] and we will close the account for you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as LyricDraft changes. We will update the date at the top, and if a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections that the law of your country gives you.
